I wish everyone would wake up and realize that your idealized self is simply your current self but with drive. The person you want to be is you if you put in the work! Like, life is ultimately up to us and we can change ourselves whenever we want! Make plans to do better for yourself, speak it into fruition, and work for it.

How can that idea NOT be addictive. How can I not constantly think about it. I have a problem I know…but can you blame me?
I need to stay strong for 3 days…
Because if I can do 3 days, I can do 1 week
If I can do a week, I can do 2
However, if I can do 2 weeks, I can do an entire month
So if I can do an entire month, I can do 3
And if I can do 3, I can do half a year
If I can do half a year, I can do it for 1 year
And if I can do it for 1 year, I can do it for a lifetime.
It just takes 3 days. 3 days to overcome your cravings, the fatigue the sadness.
It takes 21 days to change a habit.

So i noticed that i was a lot happier and binged less when i changed some of my habits and thinking so i decided to make a small list of things i’m trying to change.
♡ Try eating food that makes you happy. So not just your safe food but food which you really love and enjoy eating without feeling guilty afterwards.(I’ve been thinking about posting a list of my “happy foods” if anyones interested?)
♡ This one is pretty well known but instead of thinking about how “fat” you are right now try thinking about how skinny you’ll be if you keep going
♡ Try keeping meanspo and negative thoughts at a minimum. If you put yourself down too much it will affect your mood heavily and will lead to a higher risk of a binge
♡ Just try paying attention to what makes you happy and do those things more often. If you’re happy you’re less likely to binge
♡ Talk to yourself as if you’re a little kid. Would you shout and insult a little kid for doing something forbidden? No you would calmly explain to them why their actions were wrong and what consequences they have. So try doing that with yourself too.
♡ Try doing exercises on a regular basis even if you’re just doing a few squats. It’s really hard at first but you’ll get used to it and feel much better!
♡ Don’t know if this works for everyone but when i want to binge or eat something high cal i tell myself how unhealthy that food is and that *healthy low cal food* would be soo much better for me and my body. This tends to work better for me than telling myself how fat i am.
